Ashley Austin - Lead Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer
As a native Texan, Ashley Austin started singing at a young age. She has performed at churches, oprys, sporting & charitable events, festivals & fairs, and most recently has been entertaining in country venues. She possesses an originality in her vocals that is evident in the uniqueness of her voice and she projects a passionate style of bluesy country meeting southern rock brought together by rich powerful vocals and soulful deliverance.
She has worked with vocal teachers for the last 10 years, allowing her to have total control of her voice. A voice with power, passion, high energy; a voice that projects the meaning of each song with feelings from deep within her heart and soul.
On stage, backed by her band Southern Rule, she transforms into a “fireball” entertainer. Her performances are connecting with new fans around the metroplex. Ashley is causing quite a “BUZZ” with fans creating an ever increasing following, that seldom misses one of her shows. She knows that within the lyrics of every song, there is a “moment” that connects with her audiences, a moment they will cherish and take home with them. She knows that fans that follow her are the “lifeblood” to her continued success & to becoming one of the “MOST WANTED" singers/entertainers in the indie music market.
Ashley is currently selecting and writing songs to record on her new CD. One of her goals is to establish herself as a sought after, independent, high energy, southern country rock touring entertainer.
Singing top 40 country, traditional country, older country, classic rock, and her big passion: High Energy Southern Country Rock Music. She has even coined the phrase: "TAKIN’ IT UP A NOTCH".
Singing is one of the main driving forces in her life. Its gets her up every morning; it helps her enjoy each day; but, not just singing, music in general. She loves feeling the drum beat and letting the music be the only thing that matters during that moment. "Singing has always been a part of my life, and will continue to be. I couldn't think of anything else I would rather do with my life. I love to share my music with an audience and feed off of their energy.
